This newborn session was so delightful. I had a whole new stash of wraps, furs, and bonnets ready to go, and Jude was the perfect little baby. We may have had several poop explosions (I think we changed his diaper 4 times and had 5 total poops, including the one while he was naked on the beanbag), but it's all part of a day's work. Jude may have only been 6 days old at his newborn session, but he was already showing an amazing bond with his big sister. As soon as I put him in her arms for sibling pictures, he got the biggest smile on his face. He already loves her so much.
For Jude's newborn session, I played with some blue and gray tones to complement his boho nursery. I also wanted to do some really inky, beautiful black and white images, as well as some classic white-on-white photos, mixing textures for visual interest. I *love* color, but color trends tend to change pretty frequently. That's why I also love to do some set ups at newborn sessions that are neutral, clean -- and timeless.
But enough talk -- let's get on to the pictures of this sweet little boy, so you can have your ovaries exploded.
(Teepee, bear rug, and some hats were brought by the client for this newborn session)
